Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.

Role Description

The Production Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Gemert. This role is responsible for coordinating daily production planning and supporting manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production flow and on-time delivery.

Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales teams, the Production Coordinator monitors production schedules, material availability, and order progress while maintaining accurate production data within the ERP system.

As part of a growing manufacturing site, the role also supports production ramp-up, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to establish stable and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.


• Release and monitor production orders to ensure on-time completion.


• Coordinate with Warehouse and Purchasing to ensure material availability for production.


• Track production progress and communicate schedule changes or potential delays to relevant stakeholders.


• Maintain accurate production data, work orders, and ERP system information.


• Support inventory control, stock accuracy, and production reporting.


• Coordinate engineering changes (ECN) and ensure production documentation is updated when required.


• Assist in establishing and improving production planning processes during factory ramp-up.


• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production-related issues.


• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• MBO or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


• 2+ years of experience in production planning, production coordination, manufacturing administration, or supply chain support.


• Good understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, and inventory control.


• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; experience with Microsoft Excel is required.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


• Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.


• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.


• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
