Job description

I'm working with a Dutch Energy-tech scale-up hiring their first Product Owner.

This is a very exciting greenfield opportunity, you would join a growing energy-tech at an exciting stage of its journey from start-up to scale-up.

About the role:

• There is no playbook to follow — you'll have the freedom to help shape how the team works and builds.
• Take ownership of defining and improving processes, tools, application architecture and team collaboration.
• Play a key role in driving the adoption of AI-driven software development practices, helping the company stay ahead rather than follow the market.
• As an early hire, you'll have a genuine influence on how the engineering organisation evolves as the company grows.
• Help identify which processes and ways of working should remain flexible, and which should be standardised and scaled.
• Work in a small, collaborative and highly autonomous team where ownership is expected and encouraged.
• You won't be handed a list of tasks — you'll be trusted to identify what needs to be done and make it happen.
• Collaborate closely with the wider team to solve problems, build great products and share responsibility for the outcome.
