Job summary

Oakwell Hampton Group is seeking a technically credible, hands-on Product Owner to independently drive agile software delivery and translate between technical and commercial stakeholders. The role involves bringing structure to a growing product team with healthcare, regulated software, or AI experience preferred.

You will need to be based in the Netherlands and have 3–5 years in similar roles, with a proven track record in agile planning, releases, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a Product Owner, technical project manager, or similar role in software development.
• You’ve run agile planning yourself: sprint cycles, backlogs, and release planning were yours, not something you attended.
• Experience planning software towards production releases, including coordinating testing, documentation, and release steps.
• Fluent in whatever tooling gets the job done (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion, GitHub Projects), and in making planning visible to the whole team.

To summarize what we're looking for:

A technically credible, hands-on Product Owner who can independently drive agile software delivery, translate between technical and commercial stakeholders, and bring structure to a growing product team - ideally experienced within healthcare, regulated software, engineering, or AI experience.

Experience/Requirements

3–5 years as a Product Owner, technical project manager, or similar role in software development.

• You’ve run agile planning yourself: sprint cycles, backlogs, and release planning were yours, not something you attended.
• A technical background: you don’t need to write the code, but you understand it well enough to know why a database migration takes longer than a button color change, and to challenge an estimate credibly.
• Experience planning software towards production releases, including coordinating testing, documentation, and release steps.
• Fluent in whatever tooling gets the job done (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion, GitHub Projects), and in making planning visible to the whole team.

You must already be based in the Netherlands to qualify for this position.
