Job summary

ING is seeking a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) Cards Sales to shape and optimize card journeys for the Dutch market, driving growth by improving the card application funnel.

You will translate customer needs, data insights and business targets into concrete features and improvements, collaborating with engineers and partners to deliver value at scale. This role requires 3–5+ years in payments or cards, a customer-focused mindset, and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in payments, cards, or related digital product development in a complex organisation.
• Curious about how debit and credit card ecosystems work.
• Strong customer focus with data skills to drive product choices and outcomes.
• Able to work in a regulated environment while keeping customer value in focus.
• Clear communicator who can influence across disciplines and take ownership.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus; based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of card journeys and actively improve them.
• Turn customer insights, data, and business objectives into clear product choices.
• Shape features and improvements from idea to launch with customer value.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement solutions without owning technical details.
