Job summary

Munro Tailoring in Amsterdam is seeking an intern to join the Product Development team at its headquarters. You will support daily atelier operations, manage orders in Munro's system, and assist with CAD-related tasks and data maintenance.

The role suits students in vocational or bachelor studies with good English, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and Illustrator. We seek detail-oriented, proactive individuals available for at least 5 months starting February 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in related study at vocational or bachelor level.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily atelier operations and organize requests.
• Create and manage orders in the order system, including tracking and labeling.
• Support CAD tasks such as pattern work and system testing.
• Maintain data in the order system.
• Measure garments to align with patterns and specs.
• Prepare usage charts and calculate fabric markers.
• Support quality checks at the warehouse.
• Assist with sample sales: organize, label, and sell.
• Help at reception and in the canteen during lunch service.

About The Internship

• Assisting with daily operations such as atelier requests, preparing manuals, and structuring departmental projects;
• Creating and managing orders in Munro’s order system, including tracking, labelling, measuring, and follow-up;
• Supporting CAD-related tasks such as pattern work, system testing, size code creation, and order generation;
• Maintaining data in the order system;
• Measuring garments to ensure alignment with patterns and specification sheets;
• Preparing usage charts and calculating fabric and lining markers;
• Supporting quality control checks at the warehouse;
• Assisting with sample sales: organizing, labelling, and selling;
• Occasionally helping at the reception desk and in the canteen during lunch service.

About You

• You are enrolled in related study on vocational or bachelor level;
• You have a good command of English and great communication skills;
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office;
• You can work with Illustrator;
• You can work independently and have a proactive mindset;
• You are detail-oriented;
• You are available for at least 5 months starting February 2027.
