Job summary

Munro Tailoring, an Amsterdam-based fashion brand, is seeking a Sales Intern to join the team at the MunroTailoring headquarters in Amsterdam. You will support the sales and acquisition team, assist with customer service, logistics and sample management, and help analyse client data.

The ideal candidate is an HBO/WO student in a related study, with excellent Dutch and English, a friendly and proactive mindset, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled HBO/WO student in related study (e.g., Hotelschool, Business Administration, TMO)
• Strong communication – friendly, concise and accurate
• Helpful and able to empathize with others
• Solution oriented with a proactive mentality
• Entrepreneurial mindset – innovative and open to improvement
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• Good command of Dutch and English (both verbal and written)
• Available for at least 5 months starting February 2027

Responsibilities

• Support the sales & acquisition team with hands on projects
• Support with customer service via phone and email, including shipment tracking
• Support with logistics and deliveries, such as samples, labels, buttons
• Assist with customer satisfaction surveys and analyses on client projects
• Assist the Try on sample garment loan service for retail partners
• Assist with order entry
• Analyze customer reports
• Contribute ideas for improvements to encourage sales
• Fulfill ad hoc sales requests

About the job

• As Sales Intern, you will become part of an entrepreneurial team and be closely involved in all parts of the organization. Develop your skills and grow, while gaining insight into the inner workings of a young Dutch fashion brand. You will:
• Support the sales & acquisition team with hands on projects.
• Support with customer service, answering questions via phone and email, including shipment tracking, problem solving;
• Support with logistics and deliveries, such as sending out requested samples, labels, buttons etc.;
• Support on important client projects, like customer satisfaction surveys and analyses;
• Assist our ‘Try on’ sample garment loan service for retail partners;
• Assist with order entry;
• Analysing customer reports;
• Help bring ideas to the table for improvements and innovations to encourage sales;
• Any other ad hoc sales requests.

About you

• You are a HBO or WO student (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) enrolled in related study (e.g. Hotelschool, Business Administration, TMO);
• You have great communication – friendly, concise, and accurate in manner;
• You are helpful and able to empathize with others;
• You are solution oriented with a proactive mentality;
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset ¬– innovative, open to improvement and opportunities;
• You have good command of Microsoft Office;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English (both verbal and written);
• You are available for at least 5 months starting February 2027.
