Job summary

Munro Tailoring in Amsterdam is seeking a Buying intern to support the team at our headquarters. You will help prepare seasonal collection boards, maintain fabric archives, and assist with fabric development and sampling.

The role offers hands-on experience in international fashion buying, strong English communication expectations, and a monthly compensation of €600. Availability for 18 weeks at 40 hours per week starting February 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at MBO or HBO level, ideally in fashion.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently with a proactive mindset.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Available for at least 18 weeks and 40 hours per week starting February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Create seasonal collection boards.
• Maintain fabric archives.
• Develop lining prints for seasonal collections.
• Order showroom and photoshoot samples and track deliveries.
• Arrange shipments to ateliers.
• Create fabric master cards for production.
• Make fabrics available to order and manage customer fabrics.
• Price seasonal fabric selections from international mills.
• Handle small buying-related projects (cost-saving, analysis).

About The Internship

• Create the seasonal collection boards;

• Support making fabrics available to order and handling customer own fabrics;

• Handle small buying related projects if required (e.g. cost saving, analysis etc.).

About You

• You are enrolled at MBO or HBO level, ideally in a fashion-related study;
• You have a good command of English and great communication skills;
• You have experience with Microsoft Office;
• You can work independently and have a proactive mindset;
• You are detail-oriented;
• You are available for at least 18 weeks and 40 hours per week starting February 2027.
