Company: MAKE — Shared Production Studio for Omnicom
Employment type: Full-time
About MAKE
MAKE is the shared production studio for Omnicom in the Netherlands. We work with agencies, brands and creative teams to produce high-quality content across TV, digital, social and other channels.
We bring creative ideas to life — from the first brief and creative concept through production, post-production and final delivery. Working across a wide range of brands and agencies, we combine creative ambition with strong production expertise and a practical, collaborative approach.
We are looking for an experienced mid-level Producer to join our team and independently deliver TV commercials, branded content and integrated productions from brief to final delivery.
The role
As a Producer, you will independently manage medium-sized productions, with a strong focus on TV commercials and integrated content productions. Working primarily as an agency producer, you will work closely with creative teams, clients and external production partners. You will also have the opportunity to produce smaller projects in-house. You take ownership from brief to final delivery and are accountable for scope, planning, budget and quality.
You are an organised and hands-on producer who enjoys bringing creative ideas to life. You understand what is required to turn a creative brief into a realistic production, and you are able to anticipate potential challenges and find practical solutions when things change.
You are also a strong team player. You communicate openly, contribute ideas and share your knowledge and experience with colleagues. You coach junior producers while continuing to develop your own skills towards larger and more complex productions. You are positive, flexible and able to keep things moving, even when production gets complicated.
What you will do
- Translate creative briefs into clear production plans, timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Independently manage medium-sized productions from briefing and pre-production through shoot, post-production and final delivery.
- Work closely with creatives, clients, directors, production companies and other external partners.
- Select, brief and coordinate production companies, directors and other external partners and, for smaller in-house productions, source and coordinate crew, locations, casting and equipment.
- Develop or oversee production schedules, call sheets and other production documentation, depending on the production model.
- Coordinate shoots and ensure that all logistical and production requirements are properly organised.
- Coordinate post-production with editors, designers, animators, sound specialists, colourists and other partners.
- Own project budgets, estimates and production costs, keep track of financial commitments and manage changes in scope, timing and costs throughout the project.
- Actively steer on timelines, scope and production quality and address potential issues at an early stage.
- Anticipate obstacles and unexpected events and take action to resolve them.
- Ensure all required usage rights, releases, licences and production documentation are in place.
- Ensure final assets are delivered according to the required technical specifications and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, creatives, colleagues and production partners.
- Advise clients and creatives on production choices, identify opportunities and risks and clearly communicate the impact on scope, timing, costs and quality.
- Contribute ideas to improve production processes, products and services within MAKE.
- Coach junior producers, share knowledge and experience with colleagues and contribute to the development of production expertise within the team.
What we are looking for
- At least 4 years of relevant production experience, preferably within an advertising agency, production company, creative studio or similar environment, and a proven ability to independently manage medium-sized productions.
- Experience producing medium-sized TV commercials, branded content or integrated productions.
- Experience managing productions from briefing through production, post-production and final delivery.
- A good understanding of the advertising and creative production process.
- Strong organisational and project-management skills.
- Experience working with production budgets, estimates, timelines and suppliers.
- Good knowledge of the production process, including pre-production, shooting and post-production.
- A practical and solution-oriented approach to production challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, creatives and external partners.
- A client-focused mindset: you understand the needs of internal and external clients and proactively think along with them.
- Strong commercial awareness, including the ability to prepare and assess estimates, manage scope changes and understand the impact of production decisions on costs, timing and quality.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
- The ability to contribute ideas, share knowledge and learn from others.
- Enthusiasm for production and a positive attitude, even when faced with pressure, setbacks or unexpected changes.
- Curiosity about new production methods, technologies and ways of creating content.
- Experience with international productions is a plus.
- Professional fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
What we offer
- The opportunity to work on a wide range of TV commercials, branded content and integrated productions for brands across the Omnicom network.
- A varied and dynamic role within a creative agency environment, working closely with talented creatives, clients, directors, production companies and production specialists.
- Responsibility and ownership from the first brief through to final delivery.
- A collaborative environment where production, creativity and innovation come together.
- Training and development to grow towards larger and more complex productions.
- The opportunity to work with leading production partners as well as produce smaller projects in-house.
- A team where knowledge, experience and ideas are actively shared.
