Job description

Company: MAKE — Shared Production Studio for Omnicom

Employment type: Full-time

About MAKE

MAKE is the shared production & postproduction studio for Omnicom in the Netherlands. We work with agencies, brands and creative teams to produce high‑quality content across TV, digital, social and other channels.

Our Post team sits close to the creative process and works across a broad mix of commercial, branded and digital projects.

We combine in‑house talent with a network of freelancers and specialist partners, which means the answer isn't always to follow the same production template.

We are looking for a Post Producer.

Part of your job is figuring out what a project actually needs creatively, technically and commercially, and then making that happen.

You'll be surrounded by people who know their craft, and you'll have genuine influence over how the work gets made.

If you love Post, enjoy bringing order to creative chaos and get satisfaction from seeing a project come together from first brief to final master, we'd like to meet you.

The Role

Great Post Producers make complicated things feel surprisingly manageable.

There can be an offline edit running in one room, motion and VFX happening somewhere else, a sound designer waiting for picture lock, six new deliverables appearing in an email and a deadline that somehow hasn't moved.

You're the person who keeps the whole thing connected.

We're looking for a Post Producer who understands both sides of the job: production and Post.Someone who can organise people, budgets, timings and deliverables, but who also understands what Editors, Motion Designers, VFX artists, Sound Designers, Colorists and other post‑production specialists actually need to do their best work.

At MAKE, a Post Producer isn't just a traffic manager.

You are the production partner of the people making the work.

What you will do

You'll take responsibility for post‑production projects from briefing through final delivery.

Depending on the project, that might mean working entirely with our in‑house team, bringing in freelancers or collaborating with specialised external post‑production partners.

You will:

  • Translate creative briefs into a clear and realistic post‑production approach.
  • Scope projects and identify the people, disciplines, time and resources needed to deliver them properly.
  • Build and manage post‑production schedules.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams at the same time without losing sight of the details.
  • Brief and coordinate Editors, Motion Designers, VFX artists, Sound Designers, Colorists and other specialists.
  • Allocate internal resources together with the wider Post team and bring in external talent when required.
  • Be a central point of contact between production, creatives, account teams, clients and Post.
  • Keep communication and feedback rounds structured and make sure the right people are looking at the right version.
  • Manage expectations and communicate clearly when scope, timing or resources change.
  • Identify risks before they become problems.
  • Create estimates and monitor post‑production budgets throughout a project.
  • Recognise additional scope and flag potential overages early rather than after the work has already happened.
  • Understand what is required for different deliverables, platforms and formats.
  • Coordinate final quality control, mastering and delivery.
  • Make sure projects are properly wrapped, documented and archived.
  • Maintain and build relationships with freelancers, artists and specialist post‑production partners.
  • Help improve the way we work by identifying smarter workflows, tools and production approaches.
AI & emerging workflows

AI is becoming part of modern post‑production, and we believe a good Post Producer needs to understand that changing landscape.

You don't need to be an AI artist yourself, but you should be curious about what these tools can do and increasingly comfortable producing projects that use them.

That means being able to understand when AI might be the right approach, what kind of specialist or workflow may be required, and what it can mean for scope, planning, budget and delivery.

It also means understanding that just because something can be generated doesn't automatically make it simple.

We want someone who is curious, keeps learning and can help us find intelligent ways of integrating new technology into real production workflows without losing sight of craft, quality or the people making the work.

The important bit

You don't have to be an Editor, Colorist, Motion Designer, VFX Artist or Sound Designer yourself. But you do need to understand their world.

That knowledge allows you to protect the project, the people working on it and ultimately the quality of the work.

What we are looking for

You have professional experience producing post‑production within advertising, production, a creative agency or a dedicated post‑production environment.

More importantly, you understand how Post works.

You're organised without becoming bureaucratic. Commercially aware without losing sight of the work. Friendly and approachable, but comfortable having a difficult conversation when a deadline, budget or scope simply doesn't add up.

You:

  • Understand the full post‑production process from offline through finishing and delivery.
  • Can turn an ambiguous creative request into a workable production plan.
  • Are confident managing budgets, schedules and resources.
  • Communicate clearly with both creative and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Are comfortable managing several projects at once.
  • Can prioritise when everything appears to be a priority.
  • Spot problems early and come with possible solutions.
  • Stay calm when plans change, because they will.
  • Build good relationships with artists, freelancers, suppliers and clients.
  • Take ownership rather than waiting for someone else to solve the problem.
  • Care about the quality of the work as much as getting it out of the door.
  • Are curious about AI, emerging technologies and how they are changing both the creative possibilities and production realities of Post.

Experience matters, but we're not interested in years for the sake of years. If you understand the work, can take ownership and know how to get good people working together, we want to hear from you.

What we offer
  • The opportunity to work on a wide range of TV commercials, branded content and integrated productions for brands across the Omnicom network.
  • A varied and dynamic role within a creative agency environment, working closely with talented creatives, clients, directors, production companies and production specialists.
  • Responsibility and ownership from the first brief through to final delivery.
  • A collaborative environment where production, creativity and innovation come together.
  • A team where knowledge, experience and ideas are actively shared.
