Job summary

MAKE — Shared Production Studio for Omnicom in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Producer to support the production team on TV commercials, branded content and integrated productions. You will work on smaller projects with guidance from an experienced producer and collaborate with creatives, clients and partners.

You are organized, eager to learn and ready to take on increasing responsibilities as you grow your production skills within a fast-paced creative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in production, advertising, content, media, creative agencies, production companies or similar environment.
• Some experience supporting productions or coordinating smaller production or post-production jobs, preferably including film, TV, branded content or digital productions.
• A genuine interest in production and the creative process.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to set priorities and keep track of deadlines and milestones.
• A proactive and hands-on attitude: you don't wait for everything to be handed to you.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions, give your opinion and ask for feedback.
• A client-focused mindset and an interest in understanding internal and external client needs.
• The ability to recognise problems, understand their impact and determine what needs to be addressed first.
• A practical and solution-oriented approach to everyday production challenges.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to actively contribute to team projects.
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude, including when things don't go according to plan.
• Open to new ways of working and curious about improving how things are done.
• The ability to organise your own work so that it is clear and easy for others to follow or take over.
• Relevant knowledge or experience that you can apply to your daily production work.
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support producers on larger projects and manage smaller production and post-production jobs yourself, with guidance from an experienced producer.
• Translate creative briefs for your own smaller projects into production plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables, with support where needed.
• Assist with production research, planning and preparation.
• Help develop production schedules, call sheets and other production documentation.
• Coordinate with production companies, freelancers, suppliers, crew and other production partners.
• Assist with sourcing locations, casting, crew, equipment and other production requirements.
• Support the organisation and coordination of shoots and production days.
• Coordinate smaller post-production jobs and support post-production on larger projects, working with editors, designers, animators, sound specialists and other partners.
• Own and keep track of production timelines, milestones and deliverables for your projects.
• Keep track of production budgets, costs and purchase orders, actively steer on scope and flag potential issues to the supervising producer.
• Make sure agreed actions and deadlines are followed up.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, creatives, clients and external partners.
• Ask questions and clarify requirements whenever information is unclear.
• Identify problems and assess their potential impact, escalating issues when necessary.
• Find practical solutions to day-to-day production challenges, with support where needed.
• Ensure production documentation, rights, releases and other administrative requirements are properly organised.
• Take responsibility for delivering final assets for your own projects according to agreed specifications and deadlines, and support delivery on larger projects.
• Contribute actively to team projects and support colleagues when needed.
• Share relevant knowledge and experience with colleagues and remain open to feedback and learning.
• Stay curious about new production methods, technologies and ways of creating content.
