Job summary

G2 are partnering with a market leader near Alkmaar, North Holland, seeking a Process Engineer for a permanent role. You will contribute across scale-up production from R&D to validation, focusing on GMP-compliant development in lab and cleanroom settings, with opportunities for progression.

Fluent English is essential; Dutch is a plus. The role offers a structured development path and training to advance your skills in innovation and development phases of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or similar.
• Background in process engineering, continuous improvement and scale up production/validation.
• Experience working on process documentation, GMP, CAPAs, etc.

Responsibilities

Job description

G2 are partnering with a market leader based close to Alkmaar, North Holland, who are looking for a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. They are open to more junior profiles as well as more experienced engineers.

The client specialise in various sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and highly regulated process industries on full manufacturing processes, from research and NPI through to product manufacturing and validation phases.

You will be working on scaleup for production processes from R&D to validation phases, ensuring GMP compliance, with a main focus on R&D, innovation and development phases of projects, working in between lab/cleanrooms and on documentation.

Contract type: Permanent

Package: Bonus, travel allowance, pension, 27 days annual leave + 12 ADV days/option to cash in for extra bonus

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or similar
• Background in process engineering, continuous improvement and scale up production/validation
• Experience working on process documentation, GMP, CAPAs, etc.
• Working history in scientific fields such as chemistry, pharma, biopharma, radiopharma, etc.
• Experience working specifically on innovation/development phases of projects very beneficial
• Fluent English essential, Dutch beneficial
