Job summary

G2 Recruitment's client in Friesland is seeking a Process Engineer to join on a permanent basis. You will support the processing of goods from start to finish, working on process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs, and selecting equipment for projects in the food and beverage sector.

Hybrid working is available near Leeuwarden, with a Q4 2026 start. Prior experience in production environments and Autodesk software usage preferred; English and conversational Dutch are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering within production environments
• Background working on PFDs, P&IDs, continuous improvement and equipment selection
• Experience in the food, beverage, dairy industries or similar beneficial
• English language and conversational Dutch essential
• Bachelor's degree in process engineering or similar is beneficial, but experience more important

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects

G2 are supporting a growing client in the Friesland region who are looking for a Process Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

The client are expanding their engineering teams due to multiple projects being won over the last few months for long term work. They are an automated machine manufacturing company focusing specifically on projects for food and beverages.

You will be supporting the processing of goods from start to finish, working on process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment selection and continuous improvement using AutoDesk software. Ideally you have experience working within food or beverage production environments in previous roles.

PERMANENT ROLE - PROCESS ENGINEER - FRIESLAND REGION

Start: Q4 2026

Location: Friesland region - close to Leeuwarden. Hybrid working available
