Job summary

Alcami\'s Etten-Leur site is seeking a Process Trainer to coach packaging operations in Lean principles, support continuous improvement, and embed operational excellence on the shop floor.

You\'ll lead 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, develop SOPs, deliver training, and drive daily performance via KPI boards while collaborating with Europe and the United States. With at least 2 years in production and strong Dutch/English communication, you\'ll help us build a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering/Production/Logistics or related field.
• 2+ years of production experience, preferably GMP-regulated.
• Experience with Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, Standard Work). Lean belt certification is a plus.
• Experience coaching, training or guiding employees.
• Knowledge of cGMP/cGDP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements, eliminate waste, and translate opportunities into practical solutions.
• Coach operators and team leaders in Lean methodologies and standard ways of working.
• Develop, maintain and improve SOPs and work instructions.

• Support RCA, CAPAs, Change Controls, and Risk Assessments.
• Drive daily performance management through KPI boards and stand-up meetings.
• Build engagement and ownership for continuous improvement across the production floor.

Process Trainer - Fulltime - On Location Etten-Leur - Salary Range: €2.644,-/ €4.257,- gross per month

Our Etten-Leur site, formerly known as Tjoapack, has more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging and supply chain services. Together, we help deliver life-saving medicines safely and reliably to patients around the world.

We're looking for a Process Trainer who is passionate about Lean, continuous improvement and developing people. In this role, you'll support our Packaging Operations teams by coaching colleagues, improving processes, and embedding a culture of operational excellence. You'll report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and work closely with teams on the shop floor.

What You'll Do

As Process Trainer you'll help our teams improve the way we work by coaching colleagues and leading improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Visual Management.
• Identify process improvements, eliminate waste, and translate opportunities into practical solutions.
• Coach operators and team leaders in Lean methodologies and standard ways of working.
• Develop, maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Deliver classroom and on-the-job training on Lean principles and operational standards.
• Support Root Cause Analyses (RCA), CAPAs, Change Controls, and Risk Assessments.
• Drive daily performance management through KPI boards and stand-up meetings.
• Build engagement and ownership for continuous improvement across the production floor.

What You'll Bring

You are an enthusiastic coach who enjoys improving both processes and people.

You bring:

• MBO+ or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production, Logistics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience with Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management and Standard Work. A Lean Yellow or Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Experience coaching, training or guiding employees.
• Knowledge of cGMP/cGDP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both Dutch and English.
