Job summary

Autel Energy - Europe in the Netherlands is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Technical & Quality Manager to ensure the technical accuracy, scope governance and quality compliance of outsourced pre-commissioning services across Europe. This role acts as the technical authority and quality gatekeeper, driving standardized processes and maintaining configuration accuracy and traceability.

The position requires regular on-site collaboration with external pre-commissioning service partners to deliver

We are looking for a Pre-Commissioning Technical & Quality Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. This role is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, scope governance, and quality compliance of outsourced pre-commissioning services across Europe. Acting as the technical authority and quality gatekeeper, the role will drive standardized processes, maintain configuration accuracy and traceability, prevent scope creep, and ensure consistent service quality. The position requires regular on-site collaboration with external pre-commissioning service partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Pre-Commissioning SOP framework
• Define standard scope vs add-on service scope
• Approve technical change requests
• Define and maintain standard time benchmarks

2. HPU Governance

• Review and approve HPU requests
• Prevent scope creep in service operations

3. Quality & Traceability

• Conduct sample audits of processed units
• Ensure serial number and data traceability
• Prepare documentation for customer audits

4. Technical Issue Handling

• Investigate service-induced failures
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA)
• Implement corrective actions with service partners

Profile

• 5+ years experience in EV charging, commissioning, or industrial electronics
• Engineering background, preferably in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of OCPP and backend configuration
• Experience with EMS partners or service operations
• Strong process governance and quality management mindset
• Experience in technical SOP development and service standardization

Nice to Have

• Experience with AC and/or DC EV charging systems.
• Familiarity with OCPP and backend configuration.
• Knowledge of EV charger hardware and electrical systems.
• Experience in supplier or external service partner management.

Language Skills

• Professional proficiency in both English and Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with European partners and HQ.
• Additional European language skills are a plus.
