Job summary

JBT Marel, a leading poultry processing solutions provider, seeks a Sales Product Manager - Poultry (Digital) to empower global sales teams with in-depth product and market knowledge of digital applications. You will bridge sales, innovation, and engineering to shape proposals and capture new PMCs while expanding our data-driven offerings.

You will travel ~35% internationally, collaborate across R&D, Engineering, and Tech specialists, and help position JBT Marel's digital solutions for customers

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product management, product sales, or technical sales in capital equipment.
• Strong affinity with digitalization, software solutions, and data-driven services.
• Experience bridging business needs and technical capabilities.
• Understanding of regulatory developments (cybersecurity, data compliance such as NIS2).
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales teams with in-depth product and market knowledge within your field of specialization.
• Challenge and support Area Sales Managers to identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Spot potential for new or improved PMCs and act as the link between Sales and Innovation.
• Collect and analyze market, product, and competitor insights to strengthen our customer value proposition.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external networks — including R&D, Engineering, and Technology specialists.
• Visit customers regularly (approx. 35% travel) and contribute to exhibitions, demos, and industry events.
