Leiden University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to develop graph analytical methods for population-scale social networks. You will work within the LIACS and PLANET-NL initiative, bridging network science with social science questions on Dutch data from Statistics Netherlands.

Formación

• PhD in computer science or related field with track record in network science (or complex networks / social network analysis)
• Excellent writing skills and proficiency in English, demonstrated through publications
• Affinity with bridging methodological advances in network science with social science questions
• Interdisciplinary mindset for collaboration across disciplines
• Experience with programming in Python, or in R and/or C++

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research in network science
• Publish high-quality results from project work
• Engage in collaborative research within PLANET-NL group
• Be part of Leiden Network Science group and supervise BSc/MSc/PhD students
• Contribute to organizational activities in the research area
