Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Architect to lead the architecture and evolution of enterprise-grade platforms spanning Hybrid Cloud, Kubernetes, IDPs, AI/GPU infrastructure, automation and self-service development. The role combines hands-on architectural work with platform product thinking and strong stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud automation and enterprise architecture, with a track record of building scalable

Qualifications

10+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud automation, platform engineering or enterprise architecture.
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale platforms and automation frameworks.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
Experience building or operating an Internal Developer Platform / Developer Portal.
Experience with enterprise automation and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience in AI infrastructure, GPU platforms or AI/ML platform engineering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and evolution of enterprise-grade platforms spanning Hybrid Cloud, Kubernetes, IDPs, AI infrastructure and automation.
Transform complex infra capabilities into standardized, reusable, governed, self-service platforms.
Drive platform governance, stakeholder management and platform adoption across teams.
Define enterprise CI/CD, lifecycle designs and robust deployment pipelines.
