Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Platform Engineer to join a core infrastructure team. You will design, build, automate, and maintain the foundational platform powering applications with focus on health, reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.

You will design and manage scalable infrastructure across Azure and AWS, operate Kubernetes clusters, use Docker, and implement IaC with Terraform and CUE, while contributing to CI/CD and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Platform/DevOps/SRE with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and security expertise.
• Docker/containerization and CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters for high availability.
• Develop automation and tooling to streamline operations.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and CUE for repeatable environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments.
• Monitor health and cost using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with software teams and customers for a self-service platform.
• Ensure security best practices across the platform.
