Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking an IT Platform Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Platform team. You will design, build, and operate cloud-based data solutions for a major bank, focusing on scalable data platforms, reliability, and security.

You will collaborate with engineers, admins, and security professionals to meet the bank's needs while applying best practices. The role emphasizes SOLID design, domain-driven design, Azure data platforms, and DevOps with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-based data platforms in a large organization.
• Strong software engineering background with SOLID, design patterns and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data platform technologies.
• Ability to mentor teammates and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver robust, secure solutions in a cloud-based environment.
• Advocate and apply SOLID, design patterns, and DDD in engineering work.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and IT stakeholders to align tech strategy with business goals.
• Build and maintain scalable data platforms in Azure with the engineering team.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, mocking).
• Support and mentor team members, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
