Job summary

Vink Recruitment & TAU Engineering in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Planning Engineer for a 2-year construction project. You will develop, implement, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring milestones and contractual deadlines are met.

You will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders; monitor progress; perform critical path and delay analyses; prepare weekly/monthly reports with KPIs, S-curves, and histograms; and

Qualifications

• Experience planning large construction projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to analyze schedules and provide mitigation.
• Experience reporting to management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Prepare and monitor baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of construction activities.
• Monitor actual progress against planned schedules, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule impact assessments; support EOT claims when required.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, manpower histograms, productivity analysis, and KPI dashboards.
• Identify project risks, scheduling constraints, and resource bottlenecks, and develop mitigation and recovery plans.

Job Description – Senior Planning Engineer (2-Year Construction Project)

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones and contractual deadlines.
• Prepare and monitor baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation plans throughout the 2-year project duration.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective planning and timely execution of construction activities.
• Monitor actual progress against planned schedules, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule impact assessments, supporting extension of time (EOT) claims when required.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, manpower histograms, productivity analysis, and KPI dashboards for management review.
• Identify project risks, scheduling constraints, and resource bottlenecks, and develop mitigation and recovery plans to minimize delays.
