Nouvall Engineering Services BV is seeking a Senior Scheduling Specialist based in Zeeland, Terneuzen. In this role, you will coordinate data inputs from various contractors to ensure accurate project schedules and reporting. Responsibilities include developing project schedules and leading teams to address schedule challenges.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, and proficiency in Dutch and English.

In the role of Senior Scheduling Specialist you coordinate data inputs from the various construction contractors and internal disciplines to ensure accurate forecasts and reporting of schedule and engage the project steering team to understand causes of the deviation and the need to establish actions to mitigate, where deviations from established tolerances occur.

What will you do as Senior Construction Scheduling Specialist?

• Develops and maintains comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Start-up/Commissioning Project Stages.
• Contributes to improvement of Construction Schedule Management Work Process and leveraging of learning experiences.
• Promotes discipline knowledge exchange and quality application through technical coaching.
• Recommendations on cycle time reduction opportunities and techniques
• Utilizes project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule.
• Performs staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations and ensures resource-leveling supports the project strategy.
• Leads project teams in forecasting schedule challenges and offers analyses and solutions to complete the project on schedule.
• Performs critical path analysis to determine the problem areas in regards to project schedule and resource overloads and offers alternative courses of action to the project team.
• Evaluates project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making and recovery plans.
• Applies established schedule management practices to ascertain critical schedule issues and recommend corrective actions.

What are your responsibilities?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical, E&I, construction technology)
• Experienced in using Primavera P6
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction scheduling
• Minimum 5 years experience working for an asset owner (or EPC company) as a construction scheduler
• Practical experience as a scheduler working for a large main construction contractor in coordinating multiple subcontractors (e.g. in coordination of civil, structural steel, piping, insulation and scaffolding etc)
• Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.
• Verbal and written knowledge of Dutch and English.
