Job summary

Seerden Industrial Packaging is looking for an Operations Planner to align customer demand with production capacity, materials, and resources. You will be the link between Sales, Production, Procurement, and Engineering, balancing priorities and adjusting plans as needed.

You will monitor progress, identify bottlenecks early, and help keep delivery on track while continuously improving planning processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and materials.
• Coordinate planning across Sales, Production, Procurement and Engineering.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity constraints early.
• Support escalation management when deadlines are tight.
• Advise stakeholders on lead times, priorities and feasibility.
• Ensure efficient deployment of people, materials, and resources.
• Maintain accurate planning data in the ERP system.
• Monitor planning performance and delivery reliability via KPIs.
• Contribute to process improvements and professionalize planning at Seerden.

As Operations Planner, you ensure that customer demand, production capacity, materials, and resources come together in an achievable and realistic plan. You will be the link between Sales, Production, Procurement, and Engineering. Every day, you'll balance priorities, monitor progress, anticipate potential issues, and make adjustments where needed. When challenges arise, you don't wait for them to become problems. You identify bottlenecks early, involve the right stakeholders, and help the organization stay on track. We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a dynamic environment and who wants to play an active role in further improving our planning processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate planning activities across Sales, Production, Procurement, and Engineering.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when priorities or circumstances change.
• Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity constraints before they impact delivery performance.
• Support and coordinate escalation management when deadlines come under pressure.
• Advise stakeholders on lead times, priorities, and planning feasibility.
• Ensure the efficient deployment of people, materials, and production resources.
• Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system.
• Monitor planning performance and delivery reliability through KPIs.
• Contribute to process improvements and help further professionalize the planning function within Seerden.
