We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Production Planning Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining a smooth, responsive, and efficient supply chain, with a focus on short-term planning and product availability across multiple markets. The successful candidate will coordinate production schedules, manage inventory levels, and collaborate closely with various teams to meet customer demands and optimize supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate accurate production plans, ensuring timely alignment with factory schedulers.
• Manage short-term finished goods availability (0-12 weeks) across markets, including semi-finished products.
• Address and resolve disruptions or imbalances in demand and supply, collaborating with factories, markets, and suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor material and capacity constraints, escalating issues as needed, and adjust production scenarios to ensure optimal fulfillment.
• Evaluate the impact of material shortages and manage inventory rebalancing to improve customer service levels and minimize waste.
• Participate in decision-making processes related to inventory movements, product launches, and seasonal activities.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency, costs, and service levels.
• Maintain accurate master data related to products, production, and supply networks, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity.
• Support back-up coverage for other planning team members as required, maintaining seamless operations.
