Job summary

MSD Animal Health in the Netherlands is launching a brand-new, digital production facility. As an Improvement Officer, you will help build the site from day one, collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure a successful start and ongoing excellence.

You will optimize processes, lead technical improvements (MES/EBR), manage SAP data, support product transfers, and contribute to projects that shape the future of animal health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) and 3 years of pharma/chemical/food experience.
• Knowledge of GMP and production processes; automation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes and deliver training to teams.
• Lead technical improvements, including automation updates.
• Support new equipment implementation and ways of working.
• Assist with product transfers and optimizations.
• Manage production data in SAP and prepare change controls.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and perform root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with Maintenance & Reliability on improvements.
• Lead or contribute to undefined-solution projects.
