Job summary

MSD Netherlands is looking for an Operator to join a new pharmaceutical facility in Boxmeer. As an Operator, you will implement production processes and support a culture of safety and quality.

This position requires a minimum mbo level 3 diploma and 3 years of experience in a relevant production environment. The role offers competitive salary, 35.5 days of leave, and excellent on-site amenities.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of production processes and systems (MES/EBR, automation).
• Contribute to the development of SOPs and work instructions.
• Train and guide operators and team leads on the shop floor.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks during the start-up phase.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Actively contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of production processes and systems (such as MES/EBR, OEE+, RTMS and MDH).

Profile & Qualifications

You’re someone who enjoys being hands‑on, thrives in dynamic environments, and steps up when it matters most.

• Minimum mbo level 3 diploma with 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production environment.
• Familiar with GMP, production processes, and automation (MES/EBR is a strong plus).
• Strong communication skills, problem‑solving mindset, and a hands‑on approach.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proactive, results‑driven, and a true team player.
