Job summary

Shine is building a cross-border People Operations function across Denmark, the Netherlands, and beyond, with Amsterdam as a preferred base. You will own day-to-day HR operations for multiple European countries, focusing initially on Denmark and the Netherlands and providing support for Germany.

The role demands native-level fluency in one of German, Danish, or Dutch and English proficiency, with hands-on HRIS and payroll data experience.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in German, Danish, or Dutch with working English.
• Experience with HRIS systems (data entry, records management, process administration).
• Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth, multi-country environment.
• Ability to build relationships with local managers and cross-country stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day People Operations execution for Denmark and the Netherlands, with support for Germany.
• Provide lighter-touch support for Belgium, Austria, Poland, and Finland.
• Act as a direct point of contact for local managers, building relationships beyond requests.
• Handle HRIS data entry and lifecycle administration (new hires, changes, terminations, contracts).
• Prepare payroll-relevant data and connect with the payroll team to ensure accuracy.
• Support onboarding of newly acquired companies and their people.
• Migrate and validate absence/leave data across systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Flag gaps, suggest improvements, and help shape scalable processes.
