Job summary

Marie-Stella-Maris, headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks a People & Culture Operations Advisor to keep payroll, contracts and employee data accurate, and to guide managers on everyday people matters. You will help onboard new staff, coordinate changes and drive process improvements across HQ and Retail channels.

With 2–3 years in People Operations and solid HR knowledge, you’ll navigate Dutch employment laws and use Excel to analyze data, partnering with Finance and Recruitment.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in People Operations, P&C support or advisory role.
• Higher professional education in HR or related field.
• Knowledge of Dutch employment law and absence processes; familiarity with Retail Non-Food CLAs.
• Experience with payroll preparation and employee administration.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and employee data.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted point of contact for colleagues and managers across boutique and HQ, handling contracts and P&C processes.
• Coordinate employee administration from joining to leaving, ensuring accurate records.
• Prepare payroll input and review payroll output with partners and colleagues.
• Onboard new colleagues and ensure a well-organised, welcoming first day.
• Identify data quality issues and drive improvements for processes and systems.
