Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Coordinator to own the monthly payroll process for all Dutch entities. You will oversee validation of payroll data, ensure accurate salary calculations, and maintain close collaboration with our external payroll partner, HR, and Finance to deliver payroll on time every month.

You bring a HBO-level qualification, at least five years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• A HBO-level degree, preferably in payroll, finance, business economics, or accountancy.
• Availability of at least 32 hours per week.
• At least 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Experience with outsourced payroll administration and cooperation with an external payroll provider.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch payroll taxes, social insurances, pension rules, employment law and collective labor agreements.
• Experience with financial payroll controls, payroll journal entries and alignment with finance.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with HR and payroll systems.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the full monthly payroll cycle for all Dutch entities.
• Validate mutation files, payroll calculations, payroll components and deductions before the payroll run.
• Monitor planning, deadlines and quality of payroll processing with the external provider.
• Ensure payroll journals align with HR systems and the financial administration.
• Advise HR, Finance and management on complex payroll issues, collective labor agreements, taxes and regulation.
• Translate changes in wage law and collective agreements into payroll processes and ensure proper implementation.
• Serve as the internal escalation point for complex payroll issues.
• Contribute to payroll projects, audits, harmonizations, system improvements and process optimizations.
• Collaborate with HR Support, HR Systems, Compensation & Benefits, Finance and external parties such as pension providers and insurers.
