In this role you are part of a small, energetic team of 3 colleagues. You work closely with both the Recruiter and the Head of HR, to whom you report, and you support them primarily in payroll administration but also work on a variety of other tasks such as pension and insurance management, monthly reports, absenteeism, personnel administration. You are the first point of contact for employees with general questions (HRIS, declarations, leave balances, sick leave and pension and insurance etc.). You manage the administration and ensure the correct application of HR policies and will have plenty of room to think about the further professionalization of HR administration and processes. In your operation you provide support to the Amsterdam and London Armada offices.
What will you be doing?
- You are responsible for the full management of the payroll cycle in the two offices of Armada;
- You are the first point of contact for employees with questions about employment conditions, salary calculations and personnel pension and insurance;
- You carry out the personnel administration and take care of the input of monthly changes for the salary run;
- You manage the HR inbox and handle general questions from employees;
- You are responsible for absenteeism registration and monitor the relevant deadlines;
- You manage the leave administration, changes and (re)calculations;
- You organize all necessary administration regarding employee changes and offboarding, and inform relevant teams;
- You create monthly reports (from HR2day) for management information;
- You contribute to ideas and the implementation of optimizing HR administration and processes.
What will you bring to the table?
- You’ve acquired a relevant (Bacholer's) degree (HBO+);
- You have 1-3 years of experience in payroll and HR administration;
- You have experience with the HRM Software (HR2day is a plus);
- You are proficient with Excel;
- You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- You are proactive and curious, take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and enjoy learning new things;
- You work accurately and pay close attention to detail, while maintaining a strong problem-solving attitude;
- You are a clear and confident communicator who collaborates effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders;
- You are highly proficient in spoken and written English, fluency in Dutch is a plus.
