Job summary

MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE in Amsterdam is seeking motivated Pastry Chefs to produce breads and desserts aligned with the restaurant concept, emphasizing a fresh, simple, elegant approach and waste-conscious margins. You will prepare and bake breads, ensure plate desserts meet set recipes and quality, maintain HACCP standards, and collaborate with the Head Chef to train staff on pastry methods, recipes and presentation.

This is a role within THE ENTOURAGE GROUP’s hospitality empire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To ensure mise-en-place is freshly prepared and on time.
• To ensure dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity.
• To deputize in the Pastry sous chef’s absence and take charge when directed.
• To communicate shortages promptly to the sous chef or head chef.
• To study relevant subjects in preparation for future advancement.
