Job summary

The Usual Rotterdam is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests and craft memorable experiences across check-in, U Bar, pantry, restaurant, terrace, and meeting rooms. You will be a welcoming presence, ensuring guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

We value hospitality experience, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to work in a small, vibrant team with flexible day shifts. Legal to work in the Netherlands and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
• Available part-time and flexible to work shifts between 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–23:00.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests throughout their stay.
• Assist at check-in, U Bar, and restaurant locations as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond with thoughtful service.
• Be a true team player and support colleagues across areas.
