Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is recruiting OT/SCADA Commissioning Engineers for a leading Dutch transmission system operator. This client-side role focuses on overseeing the commissioning connection between substations and OT applications across the Netherlands, with a strong emphasis on integration with OT/SCADA systems.

Based in the Netherlands, you will travel occasionally to sites, collaborate with OT, telecommunications and field teams, and contribute to HVDC and transmission

Qualifications

• Background in electrical or transmission engineering.
• Experience with OT/SCADA environments.
• General knowledge of IEC standards.
• Telecommunications knowledge relating to transmission assets.
• Understanding interfaces between field equipment and operational applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commissioning support across the Dutch transmission network.
• Commission interfaces between field assets and OT/SCADA applications.
• Work closely with OT applications, telecommunications and field commissioning teams.
• Troubleshoot integration and commissioning issues.
• Attend sites occasionally when additional technical support is required.
• Contribute to substation, transmission infrastructure and selected HVDC projects.
