Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind Netherlands B.V. is seeking an Operations Engineer for Electrical Systems & Innovations to ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and OT/SCADA.

The role combines hands-on support with technical expertise, contributing to performance improvements and lifecycle optimization. The candidate will analyze data, support risk management and maintenance planning, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on IT/OT topics, including OT security and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Professional experience with electrical systems in power generation or industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of SCADA and OT systems, maintenance planning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of OT security and cyber security concepts (NIS2/CER context preferred).
• Strong English communication and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Willingness to travel for offshore campaigns and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for electrical systems and OT/SCADA infrastructure.
• Perform data and root cause analysis to drive improvements and mitigation measures.
• Support risk management, maintenance planning and campaign scheduling.
• Develop spare parts philosophy and procurement concepts.
• Review problems, alarms, and readiness for OT/electrical systems.
• Own maintenance plan for OT/SCADA equipment lifecycle optimization.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on IT/OT topics.
• Prepare RAMS packages for substation visits and audits.
