Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is assisting a major European electricity transmission organisation in Arnhem, Netherlands, to recruit an OT/SCADA Commissioning Engineer on a 12-month contract with hybrid/remote working.

The role focuses on commissioning interfaces between high-voltage assets and OT/SCADA systems, supporting substations, verifying communications, and troubleshooting integration across the network. Occasional site attendance and relocation to the Netherlands may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electricity transmission or substations.
• Understanding of OT environments.
• Experience with SCADA systems and interface testing.
• Knowledge of IEC standards and telecoms in infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Commission interfaces between HV assets and OT/SCADA systems.
• Support commissioning across substations and transmission infrastructure.
• Verify communication between field equipment and operational applications.
• Perform functional testing of monitoring and control interfaces.
• Troubleshoot commissioning and integration issues.
• Provide technical support during commissioning.
• Travel to sites for troubleshooting as needed.
