Job summary

GEODIS in Horst zoekt een gemotiveerde orderpicker voor een fulltime positie in een internationaal magazijn. Je pikt orders met een handheld scanner, verpakt nauwkeurig en verplaatst goederen met een EPT of reachtruck waar nodig.

Je werkt 32 tot 40 uur per week in afwisselende dagdiensten. Daarnaast biedt GEODIS uitstekende trainingsmogelijkheden, 8% vakantiegeld, 24 verlofdagen en reiskostenvergoeding vanaf 10 km.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 1 jaar ervaring in magazijn of logistiek.
• Voldoende Engels om werkinstructies te begrijpen.
• Ervaring met handheld scanner / EPT of bereid om dit te leren.

Responsibilities

• Orderpicken met een handheld scanner.
• Pakken van producten veilig en nauwkeurig.
• Goederen verplaatsen met EPT/reachtruck.
• Orders controleren, gereedmaken voor verzending.
• Werken volgens veiligheids- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften.

Wat je gaat doen

As an order picker at GEODIS, you make sure customer orders leave the warehouse complete, accurate and on time.

Your work includes:

• Picking orders with a handheld scanner;
• Packing products safely and accurately;
• Moving goods with an Electric Pallet Truck;
• Checking incoming and outgoing orders;
• Preparing orders for shipment;
• Following safety and quality procedures.You work closely with your colleagues to achieve the daily targets without losing sight of accuracy and safety.

Do you have a valid forklift or reach truck certificate? Depending on the work available, you may also use these vehicles and take on additional warehouse responsibilities.

You work 32 to 40 hours per week in alternating day shifts:

• One week from 07:00 to 16:00;
• The following week from 09:00 to 18:00.This schedule gives you the stability of daytime warehouse work without regular night shifts.

Functie-eisen

You are accurate and reliable and enjoy working as part of an international warehouse team.

You also have:

• At least one year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including order picking or packing;
• Sufficient English skills to understand work and safety instructions;
• Experience with a handheld scanner or EPT, or the ability to learn this;
• Your own transport to travel to the warehouse in Horst;
• The willingness and ability to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct, known as a VOG.

Warehouse work involves regular walking, standing and moving products. It is therefore important that you are comfortable with physically active work.

A forklift or reach truck certificate is an advantage but not required for the basic order picker position.
