Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een ervaren heftruckchauffeur om goederen veilig en op tijd te verplaatsen in het magazijn.

Je werkt fulltime in dagdienst, meestal 09:00–18:00, met om de drie weken 07:30–18:00. Een vast dienstverband is mogelijk.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden: salaris vanaf €16,20 per uur, uitgebreide secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, reiskostenvergoeding en garantie op fulltime uren.

Qualifications

• Vereist heftruckcertificaat.
• Ervaring als heftruckchauffeur.
• Beschikbaarheid voor genoemde diensten.
• Veiligheidsbewustzijn en nauwkeurigheid.
• Goede fysieke conditie voor magazijnwerk.
• Certificaat van Goed Gedrag (VOG) kan gevraagd worden.
• Beheersing van Nederlands, Engels of Duits.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens met heftruck.
• Pallets verplaatsen en opslaan.
• Goederen naar verschillende zones in het magazijn verplaatsen.
• Goederen controleren bij binnenkomst en uitvoering.
• Schades melden en werkplek schoon en veilig houden.
• Meehelpen bij andere magazijnwerkzaamheden indien nodig.

Wat je gaat doen

As a forklift driver at GEODIS, you make sure goods are moved safely and on time. Most of your working day, you will work with a forklift. You will load and unload trucks, move pallets and make sure goods are in the right place in the warehouse. Your tasks include:

• Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift;
• Moving and storing pallets;
• Moving goods to and from different areas in the warehouse;
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods;
• Reporting damage or problems;
• Keeping your work area safe and clean;
• Helping with other warehouse tasks when needed.

You will work full-time in a fixed day shift, usually from 09:00 to 18:00. Once every three weeks, you will start at 07:30 and work until 18:00. This gives you a clear schedule, so you know when you are working.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an experienced forklift driver who works safely and carefully.You:

• Have a valid forklift certificate;
• Have experience as a forklift driver;
• Are available for the mentioned day shifts;
• Work carefully and follow safety rules;
• Are willing to help with other warehouse tasks when needed;
• Are physically able to do warehouse work;
• Can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG);
• Speak Dutch, English or German.
