Job summary

JPGray - Netherlands invites an Operational Excellence specialist to accelerate the adoption and impact of Data & AI Governance across a complex, international technology-driven organisation. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimise governance processes and help business stakeholders leverage trusted data as a strategic asset.

You will work with governance, data, technology and product teams to boost efficiency, maturity and adoption, delivering scalable governance practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement or Business Transformation.
• Demonstrated experience leading international projects.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities across multiple business functions.
• Proven ability to use data to identify opportunities and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives across Data & AI Governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and business adoption.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop and implement scalable governance operating models.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Translate governance requirements into practical business solutions.
• Support training, communication and change adoption activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and data teams to test and implement improvements.
• Monitor programme progress and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of Data Stewardship and Data Ownership communities.

Operational Excellence Specialist| Data & AI Governance

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: 6 Months

About the Role

We are looking for an Operational Excellence specialist to accelerate the adoption and effectiveness of Data & AI Governance capabilities across a complex international technology-driven organisation. In this role, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimise governance processes and support business stakeholders in leveraging trusted data as a strategic asset. You will work closely with governance, data, technology and business teams to increase operational efficiency, governance maturity and organisational adoption. The position sits within a central Data & AI Governance function and plays a key role in enabling scalable, sustainable and business-focused governance practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead process improvement initiatives across Data & AI Governance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and business adoption
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders
• Develop and implement scalable governance operating models
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking methodologies

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement or Business Transformation
• Demonstrated experience leading international projects
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities across multiple business functions
• Proven ability to use data to identify opportunities and drive change
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies and delivery plans
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Self-starter mindset with strong personal accountability
• Ability to work independently while navigating complex organisational environments
