Job summary

team.blue Netherlands seeks an OpenStack Support Engineer to join our second-line OpenStack Support team in Leiden. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and engineering, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and clearly communicated.

You will help customers troubleshoot networking, API errors, and OpenStack features, maintaining a professional support experience. Remote work is allowed with in-office days in Leiden as agreed with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
• OpenStack experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle second-line customer support requests and escalations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the OpenStack platform.
• Guide customers in using OpenStack services and best practices.
• Work with DevOps & Continuity team to resolve platform issues.
• Create and improve internal and customer-facing knowledge base articles.
• Monitor the health and availability of the OpenStack platform.
• Escalate software bugs and infrastructure issues when required.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to reduce impact.
• Help improve internal tooling, processes, and documentation.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
