Job summary

Senior Infrastructure Engineer in the Netherlands (fully remote) to design, build, and evolve scalable infrastructure for large-scale products. You will own end-to-end systems from architecture to production operations and continuous improvement.

The role spans cloud architecture, deployment, observability, performance, security, and developer tooling, with mentoring and cross-team collaboration across product engineering, security, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in infrastructure or backend engineering, cloud-based environments (preferably AWS).
• Experience owning a product or subsystem from design to production operation.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform and hands-on cloud architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own core infrastructure components end to end including design, deployment, operation and improvement.
• Define objectives, align initiatives with business goals, identify risks.
• Build secure, scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure for diverse workloads.
• Design software and tooling to improve productivity and reduce toil.
• Collaborate with product, security, and DevOps teams; lead cross-team discussions.
