Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to join our Rotterdam team. You will provide hardware management, asset tracking, and onsite support across devices including servers, printers, and mobile equipment, coordinating with remote teams as needed.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and communication, with a requirement for Dutch and English fluency. You will work in an office setting and may travel to remote sites on demand.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 11 and modern managed devices.
• Knowledge of BIOS configuration and OS setup (Windows, Ubuntu).
• Familiarity with Office 365 apps and device connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi).
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare end user hardware for an office environment.
• 2nd level hardware support via tickets in ServiceNow.
• Incident and problem management of IT issues.
• Provide input for service improvements.
• Act as local project coordinator for hardware rollouts.
• Support other Netherlands locations as needed.
• Update asset records in ServiceNow.
