Job summary

Pearson Carter is assisting a global healthcare organisation in Assen, Netherlands, to hire an Application Support Engineer (Contract). The role is based onsite five days a week, delivering hands-on support for key business applications and ensuring systems stay compliant and secure.

You will handle incidents, patching, upgrades, and cooperation with IT infrastructure and third-party teams within a regulated environment. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background in application support or related IT roles in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on onsite support for critical business applications at Assen site.
• Manage administration and maintenance of enterprise applications including LIMS.
• Investigate incidents using logs, alerts and user reports, escalate when needed.
