Job summary

Booking.com in Amsterdam seeks an Onsite AV Operations Engineer to support and continuously improve audio-visual and video collaboration across meeting rooms, auditoriums, and events. You will provide hands-on support for AV systems, troubleshoot live issues, and ensure smooth execution of high-profile meetings with vendors and internal teams.

You will work with Video Collaboration engineers and partner with IT Support, Security, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Events, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting audio-visual, video-conferencing, meeting-room, event, workplace-technology, or comparable enterprise-support environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with cameras, microphones, displays, touch controllers, speakers, amplifiers, DSPs, room-control systems, digital signage, or related AV equipment.
• Experience supporting one or more video-conferencing platforms or room systems such as Cisco, Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain meeting rooms, auditoriums, boardrooms, digital signage, video-conferencing endpoints, and related AV systems.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, room-control, endpoint, network, and cloud-service issues using a structured, evidence-based approach.
• Install, configure, test, commission, and document AV equipment and room systems in line with standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with IT Support, Network, Security, Infrastructure, and vendors when issues cross team boundaries.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset information, room records, escalation notes, and operational knowledge.
