Job summary

VBH seeks an IT & Network Specialist to configure, implement and troubleshoot the onboard network infrastructure on some of the world's most extraordinary superyachts. You will work with routers, switches, firewalls and wireless systems, collaborating with System Engineers, Project Managers and installation specialists to deliver reliable, secure networks from setup through commissioning.

Qualifications

Several years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures.
Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls and wireless environments.
Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPNs, network segmentation and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

Configure and implement network infrastructures for complex onboard IT environments.
Set up and optimise routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
Work with LAN/WAN environments, VPNs and network segmentation to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
Configure network equipment and ensure components work together correctly.
Contribute to network designs and technical solutions that meet project requirements.
Help implement secure network environments, including firewall configurations and access controls.
Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and configuration problems to keep systems running.
