Job summary

VBH is seeking an AV Control Systems Programmer to design, implement and optimise control systems that unify onboard technology on superyachts. You will program Crestron control systems, develop interfaces and integrate multiple technologies into a single intuitive experience.

You’ll work with System Engineers and AV specialists across commissioning and testing to ensure reliable operation, robust user interfaces and scalable solutions across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience programming Crestron control systems.
• Crestron Masters Certified Programmer (CMCP) certification.
• Strong programming skills in Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+ and SIMPL#.
• Experience with C# and .NET development using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of system integration technologies such as KNX, DALI, Lutron, HVAC systems and Q-SYS.
• Familiarity with integration protocols such as REST API, Modbus, BACnet and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of AV transport protocols such as Dante, RTP/RTCP, NDI, AES and UDP/TCP is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program and optimise control systems using Crestron platforms.
• Write and maintain control logic using SIMPL, SIMPL+ and SIMPL#.
• Develop software components using C# and .NET where required.
• Translate technical requirements into functional, reliable control solutions.
• Integrate AV, lighting, HVAC and other onboard technologies into a cohesive control environment.
• Create intuitive control experiences that make complex technology easy to use.
• Integrate different systems and devices through APIs and communication protocols.
• Apply protocols such as REST API, Modbus, BACnet and TCP/IP to connect systems.
