Job summary

Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) seeks an International Field Service Engineer to lead AV/IT installations on superyachts. The role involves regular international travel across Europe, coordinating engineers, and ensuring on-site systems meet exact specifications.

You will be based in the Netherlands or France, with extensive travel to shipyards and yachts. The position emphasizes hands-on problem solving and close collaboration with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience with AV/IT installations, preferably in high-end/maritime environments.
• Strong practical, hands-on technical ability and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel regularly and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the installation of AV/IT systems and equipment on board.
• Commission and test systems and check that they meet specifications.
• Analyse issues, troubleshoot and correct deviations on site.
• Coordinate activities of other engineers on larger projects and stay on track.
• Serve as technical point of contact for clients, suppliers and partners.
• Explain systems to clients and provide guidance for operation.
