Job summary

Faststream Recruitment, a premium British cruise line partner, seeks an experienced Senior IT Officer to deliver onboard technical support and manage IT infrastructure across the fleet. You will mentor IT Officers, liaise with shoreside IT, and ensure maximum system availability and excellent end‑user service in a demanding maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Requirements include cruise ship IT experience and prior Senior IT Officer roles.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting shipboard hardware and software systems (Wi‑Fi, door access, POS).
• Knowledge of maritime connectivity (VSAT) and shipboard networks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboard technical support to crew and guests.
• Lead, mentor and support IT Officers onboard.
• Act as senior IT representative and liaison between shipboard teams and shoreside IT.
