Job summary

Rivertech Group seeks a Fleet IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure linking shore offices with river cruise vessels across Europe. The role focuses on onboard IT, first-line support, and collaboration with the Technical Team Lead Portside, IT Application & System Manager, and onboard providers.

You will cover back-up duties for the IT Application & System Manager and ensure continuity across Cyprus, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 in IT or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Broad IT experience across office and vessel environments; maritime sector advantageous.
• Willingness to attend industry fairs and events.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT on board the fleet, delivering remote and on-site support.
• Ensure onboard network connectivity and secure communications between vessels and shore.
• Maintain vessel management software and onboard applications used by crew.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot onboard hardware across the fleet.
• Coordinate with captains and crew to resolve IT incidents quickly.
• Monitor onboard systems, document configurations, and log incidents.
