Job summary

Faststream Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head Waiter for a leading luxury ocean cruise operator. You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional onboard service and guest satisfaction, leading a multicultural team and managing reservations.

Requires STCW certification and shipboard experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills. The position offers a salary of $3,500 per month onboard with a 6 months onboard / 2 months off rotation, and offshore work

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as Head Waiter or Assistant Maître d' in premium hospitality.
• Previous shipboard experience is required.
• STCW certification and seafarer documentation are mandatory.
• Ability to provide last 2 end-of-contract appraisals.
• Strong leadership and communication to manage multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

Requirements include at least 2 years of experience as a Head Waiter, Assistant Maître d' or similar in premium hospitality, previous shipboard experience, strong leadership and communication skills, experience leading multicultural teams, valid STCW certification and seafarer documentation, and the ability to provide the last 2 end-of-contract appraisals. The position offers a salary of $3500 per month worked onboard and a 6 months onboard / 2 months off rotation.
