Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind Netherlands B.V. seeks an Operations Engineer for Electrical Systems & Innovations to ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and OT. The role includes supporting innovative technologies and coordinating maintenance, risk management and life‑cycle planning in an offshore wind context.

You will analyse data, manage alarms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise performance. Offshore travel and readiness for campaigns are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, energy technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical systems in power generation, transmission, or industrial settings.
• Solid understanding of SCADA and OT systems, maintenance planning and lifecycle management.
• Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis of technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for electrical systems, cables and communication infrastructure.
• Perform data analysis to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
• Support risk management, maintenance planning and campaign scheduling for OT/SCADA.
• Develop spare-parts concepts and inventory strategies for relevant systems.
• Review problems and alarms related to electrical systems and OT.
• Own maintenance plan lifecycle and optimisation for OT/SCADA equipment.
• Collaborate with IT/OT teams and external partners as required.
• Prepare RAMS packages for substation visits and audits.
