Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind Netherlands B.V. is seeking an Operations Engineer WTG to join the OranjeWind project offshore Netherlands.

You will ensure safe, reliable operation of wind turbine generators and serve as the technical interface with the main contractor. You will manage handovers, SMA with contractor, monitor alarms and maintenance, support REMIT reporting and incident investigations, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve asset performance.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent experience in a comparable role.
Solid understanding of turbine maintenance and monitoring data and their use in root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
Experience in working with contractors, including performance management, fleet management, and service/maintenance agreements.
Ability to manage handovers, punch lists and configuration management in a structured and transparent way.
Sound understanding of HSE principles and experience contributing to incident investigations and improvement actions.
Good analytical and computational skills (MS Excel, MATLAB and Python) with the ability to translate data into information and actionable technical and operational measures for optimisation of reliability and availability.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to work in an offshore wind environment and to travel as required for meetings, site visits and offshore campaigns.

Responsibilities

Lead handover of WTGs from construction to operations and manage punch lists.
Interface for managing the Service & Maintenance Agreement (SMA) with the WTG main contractor, monitoring performance and driving service quality.
Check progress of planned and corrective maintenance, review weekly alarm sessions, and ensure downtime is allocated and reported.
Monitor asset integrity of turbines, including configuration management and change control.
Monitor turbine alarms, failure data, maintenance logs, condition monitoring and performance data for root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
Contribute to monthly reporting, including REMIT, availability forecasting and lost production analysis.
Support incident investigations and the implementation of HSE improvements in line with RWE standards and procedures.
Work in a multidisciplinary team and interact with site operations, HSE, engineering, commercial and central support functions to improve OranjeWind performance.
